Captain of the Imperial Navy

Born during the imperial period in the north of the galaxy, growing she only knew the Empire at the height of its power even after the first death of Palpatine.

Originally from a family of the old aristocracy of her planet, she has always believed in elitism and in this she recognizes the merits of the users of the Force.

Early enrolled in the cadets of the imperial navy, graduated major of her promotion of the imperial academy, she was quickly confronted and hampered in her ascent by the nepotical and political maneuvers of her superiors.

She was repeatedly commissioned to missions on the verge of the feasible and came out with inventive tactics that confused her enemies giving her time to take advantage of them.

Her subordinates have learned to trust her, but only some of her superiors appreciate her successes and innovations. Admittedly, while remaining within the limits of imperial procedures and protocols, she never hesitated to skirt the boundaries of insubordination and twist the rules to win the victory.

The "ringing star" operation was part of various attempts by the remnants of the Empire to recover one of Palpatine's plans for a super weapon in the hope of reversing the course of the war.

Neither she nor her superiors were aware of the extreme danger represented by Akathen nor of the fact that the Emperor himself had only very partial information about what was really going on in this system.

However, the prospect of being the One who single handedly saved the Empire and vanquished the new republic / rebellion attracted some glory hounds in the mission. As a result, and against commander Vasnov opinion, a colonel from the Army (equivalent to her in grade but in another corps) was assigned to the mission. His mission was to assist the ship commander but as the son of a general, he was there to take the glory and Vasnov knew that.

Interpreting the information of the sensors incorrectly, he imposed a landing on "the last temple" and did not hesitate to use explosives to force the entrance causing the awakening and intervention of monks warriors.

Be that as it may, soon the perpetual song was interrupted freeing the Herault of Akathen and letting express his centennial hunger giving Gnos Revir no choice but to sacrifice himself to save every life in the system.

Vasnov was impressed and moved in an unprecedented way by the self sacrifice of the millenia old Jedi.

The aftermath of the failure of the Ringing Star operation and the death of the admiral son will leave a lasting stain on her permanent record and her career but she can't help to put that sacrifice above those personnal consequences.

"C'est donc ainsi que s'achève la liberté, sous un tonnerre d'applaudissements."
IMHO est implicite à toute affirmation.
